De veertien stappen van de Protector Guardrail D228-montagehandleiding, woord voor woord overgenomen zodat ze doorzoekbaar en te linken zijn. De pdf van de handleiding, met de tekeningen, is het document dat de montage bepaalt.

Woordelijk overgenomen uit de handleiding, inclusief de spelling daarvan. De stappen staan hieronder in het Engels van de handleiding: een montage-instructie voor valbeveiliging wordt hier niet vertaald, omdat een vertaling een tweede, niet-geverifieerde instructie zou zijn. Bij elke stap staat de foto van diezelfde pagina uit de handleiding; hieronder staat geen enkel getal dat de handleiding zelf niet noemt.
Stap 1Place the aluminium tile support strip with the adjustable pedestals and concrete tiles. 
Stap 2Use the lifting aid to position the first tiles along the roof edge. 
Stap 3Continue placing tiles using the lifting aid, ensuring even spacing. 
Stap 4Position the base post and align the two fastening bolts through the square tube and strip, hand-tighten them to secure initial alignment. 
Stap 5Attach the horizontal square tube (rail) to the base connection, tighten the front bolt of the strip firmly using a power tool. 
Stap 6Tighten the rear bolts of the strip firmly using a power tool. 
Stap 7Ensure the upright post is positioned at 70° or 90° depending on the design. 
Stap 8Install the connection tubes and fasten them to the upright posts. 
Stap 9Tighten all (up and down)tube screws securely for full stability. 
Stap 10Cut tubes project designed length. 
Stap 11Mount the intermediate upright in the same way as the normal upright 
Stap 12Use 4 screws and one bolt with nut per corner section. 
Stap 13Wall fixed end section, free standing end section. 
Stap 14Finaly double-check and tighten all bolts and connections before completion.

wat deze pagina niet vertelt
Ballasthoeveelheden, windbelastingen en de opgelegde belastingsgevallen staan niet in de montagehandleiding en worden hier niet geraden. Ze staan in de prestatieverklaringen — zie de DoP-tabellen en de rest van documenten. Wat de 70° en 90° in stap 7 betekenen, staat uitgelegd in 70° en 90° uitgelegd. Voor alles wat de documenten niet beantwoorden, stel ons een vraag.
